Your rent is due monthly in advance. If paying monthly is inconvenient, you may prefer to pay weekly, fortnightly or four weekly. If you want to pay at a frequency other than monthly, get in touch with the Association to make sure you are not paying too little – or too much!
You can use any of the payment methods listed below:
Direct Debit is Langstane’s preferred payment method and the easiest way to pay your rent. You can choose any day of the month as your preferred payment date, and payment frequencies can be weekly, fornightly, four weekly and monthly to suit your circumstances.
If you want to pay by Direct Debit contact us on 01224 423000 and we will set up your direct debit while you are on the phone or download our form and send it in to us.
Over the counter
At any shop or Post Office displaying the PayPoint sign. Present your card and your payment at the counter (some outlets will accept payment by debit card - you should contact them directly to confirm this). You will receive a printed receipt which you should keep for your records. Look out for the PayPoint logo at your local shop or garage.
Online
You can use your allpay card to pay online by visiting https://www.allpayments.net/
Over the phone
You can use your card and your debit card to make a payment over the telephone. Ring the allpay.net payment centre on 0844 557 8321 24 hours a day. You will be guided through entering your 19 digit rent card number and your debit card details, plus the amount you wish to pay. If you have a problem you will be automatically redirected to a customer service advisor.
If you do not already have an allpay card, contact us and we will arrange for one to be sent out.
You can pay by cash or cheque over the counter at any of our offices. To pay by post send a cheque to our office. Please make the cheque payable to Langstane Housing Association and write your name and tenancy address on the back.
**Please do not send cash by post**
If you are unemployed, or on low income, you may be entitled to claim Housing Benefit. You need to contact your Local Authority about this. Remember, it is always your responsibility to ensure your rent is paid.
