Management Committee

Governance

The Association is controlled by a Committee of Management elected from its membership.  The Association has worked hard to develop and maintain strong links with the 3 Local Authorities with whom it works and each Local Authority is represented by a co-opted Member of the Council.

The following are the current members of the Committee of Management:-

Chairman: Dennis Wood

Dennis is a Chartered Accountant and retired Director of Finance with Aberdeen City Council.  He has been on the Committee for many years.

 

Vice Chairman:  Forbes McCallum

Forbes McCallum is a lecturer at the Robert Gordon University.  He has been Chairman for 4 years, prior to which he was the Convenor of the Development Sub-Committee.

 

Kevin Hutchens:

Convenor of the Tenants Services Sub-Committee:

Kevin Hutchens is a Social Worker with Aberdeenshire Council specialising in Community Care.  He is a tenant of the Association and has been on the Committee since 1996.

 

Sandy Wallace:

Mrs Jeannie Felsinger:

Jeannie is the Co-Director of Grampian Racial Equality Council and joined the Committee 2 years ago.  As part of her responsibilities with Grampian Racial Equality Council she is recognised as an expert in and delivers a variety of training programmes covering diversity and equal opportunities.
