Elgin

Elgin is the principal city of Moray, and dates back to the 18th century. Elgin is located 65 miles north west of Aberdeen. Elgin has a population of around 21000. The medieval buildings and quaint narrow lanes of the city centre are preserved to this day and attract historians, artists and visitors alike from both home and abroad. 

Moray itself also boasts such famous attractions as The Castle Trail, The Speyside Way, The Coastal Trail, The Stone Circle Trail and The Victorian Heritage Trail, not forgetting of course, The Malt Whisky Trail.
