Following a major restructuring exercise, the Gypsy Traveller Education and Information Project North East have exciting job opportunities to offer. GTEIP are seeking to employ 3 part-time (minimum of 20 hours per week) Support Workers to work with Gypsy Travellers across
GTEIP supports Gypsies and Travellers in the North East on unauthorised encampments, private sites, local authority sites and living in houses by making and maintaining contact, as required. Funding come through a variety of sources including Local Authorities, Children in Need and Scottish Government.
GTEIP are looking for enthusiastic people with experience of working on social justice, community development and equality issues. It will be essential to have good report writing skills, be confident when working on your own and as part of a team. As well as having a knowledge of working to achieve outcomes and meeting targets.
