Aberdeen

Old Aberdeen

The original settlement, often referred to as Aberdon, lay at the northern end of today's city, on the south bank of the River Don. The area is now better known as Old Aberdeen or Aulton ("Old Town").

The area is well served by local shops and public transport facilities and is close to historic King's College with its quiet, cobble streets and historic landmarks. The location is particularly convenient for those who work at Aberdeen University or at the Bridge of Don.

King's College Visitor Centre is situated on the old cobbled High Street and is home to a shop, multimedia display and excellent coffee shop. The centre also provides  comfortable meeting and conference facilities.

There is easy access to local picturesque walks with Aberdeen beach and Seaton Park and their many attractions also located nearby.

The Association offers a selection of 1 and 2 bedroom flats on Don Street, Froghall Road and at John Barbour Court on Harrow Road. There is also a choice of 4 bedroom part furnished properties on The Spital.
