Hanging Basket Workshops 2018 01/05/18
As part of Aberdeen’s In Bloom campaign Aberdeen City Council's Environmental Services is once again hosting hanging basket workshops at the end of May.
This is the fourth year that the workshops have been held and they will give you the opportunity to learn how to plant up hanging baskets from award winning horticulturalist Terry Stott. The baskets you create will be brought on in our poly tunnels and then used as part of the summer displays throughout the city.
The workshops will be held at the old Grove Nursery site at Hazlehead off Hazledene Road (entrance opposite Craigiebuckler Avenue). The available dates and times are:
Tuesday 29th May 1pm-3pm
Tuesday 29th May 6pm- 8pm
Thursday 31st May 6pm-8pm
These workshops are a great chance to meet and work alongside people from other groups and ultimately brighten up the city. Plus, Terry is very knowledgeable.
Numbers are limited and spaces will be allocated on a first come first served basis.
If you would like to join one of these fun and informative workshops please contact Lorna Graham (Performance and Development Officer) at: email@example.com by the 14th of May. You will also have to provide details of what group, if any, you are with.
