We have worked with partners to set up community facilities such as The Foyer in Peterhead, Port Elphinstone Comunity House and the STAR Community Flat. For the most part, these facilities are based in Langstane properties and let to our partners. We are keen to continue this kind of partnership working and if you are looking for a property for community use, please contact our Business Development Manager, Matthew Reid to discuss your project - firstname.lastname@example.org
The Foyer, Peterhead
The Foyer will be working with the North East Scotland College to help people move onto further education, training, volunteering and employment.
There will be two programmes on offer at Kirk Street:
- The TEAM personal development and employability programme for 16 to 25 year olds
- The REACH programme (Recovery, Employability, Achievement, Challenge and Hope) for anyone aged 16 to 65 who is in recovery from physical or mental health problems, addictions, loss of confidence or isolation.
Visitors to The Foyer can also develop their digital and IT skills at the Learning House, and manage their money with NESCU (North East Credit Union).
To find out more about The Foyer’s services call 01779 474820.
Port Elphinstone Community House
Port Elphinstone Community House was set up to provide an affordable meeting place for the residents of Port Elphinstone and Inverurie. The Community House is run by a committee of local volunteers. Several local groups use this facility which has meeting rooms for hire. You can find out more here.
