The Association has a long and successful relationship with Cornerstone providing accommodation in Stonehaven as well as Aberdeen (currently 9 properties although this does fluctuate depending on those being supported).
Cornerstone provides care and support services for adults, children and young people with disabilities and other support needs.
They operate with a person centred approach and identify outcomes for everyone supported based on four key areas – increased social inclusion, improved health, improved independence and improved wellbeing.
“In 1980, Cornerstone opened its first care home in partnership with Langstane HA in Granton Place, Aberdeen. Since then, Cornerstone has continued to develop services for people with disabilities and other support needs and now operates in 20 local authorities across Scotland - supporting over 2,600 children, young people and adults in their own homes, residential care homes and various community settings. We continue to enjoy a close partnership with Langstane, with whom we share so much history and together we successfully support people to live at home and enjoy valued and fulfilling lives.”
