Fraserburgh Development Trust
“Fraserburgh Development Trust is developing a range of community projects within both Fraserburgh and the AB43 postcode area. These include Fraserburgh SUPER SATURDAY and a community garden, in addition to trying to build a community bakery and training centre in New PItsligo.
The Trust has just submitted a £1Million application to the BIG Lottery in respect of this bakery social enterprise project.
Our partnership with Langstane has proved a positive one, with both organisations working together to consider joint working opportunities.”
Mark Jackson, Manager of Fraserburgh Development Trust
The Fraserburgh Development Trust is a membership-led charity, formed by the Fraserburgh community for the purpose of improving, sustaining and regenerating the local community. The main goal of the Fraserburgh Development Trust is to work with the community to bring improvements to Fraserburgh and its surrounding area. Their mission is to be a community led vehicle for positive change in Fraserburgh.
The Trust has been supported by Langstane Housing Association through the provision of a modest grant to allow their invaluable work to continue (£4,000 in 2013/14 and 2014/15; and £2,000 in 2015/16) and professional guidance through a member of staff on their Board of Management.
