Please click to read a Christmas message from the rent management team. Included is information on who to contact for help and advice if you are struggling and contact details for your Rent Officer.
2020 has been a difficult year. Christmas can be busy and expensive. The costs of celebrations soon add up. It is really important to remember to keep paying your rent. Even one missed payment can feel like a big mountain to climb when you have to catch up. Paying rent on time will make sure your tenancy does not become at risk, protecting the roof over your head.
It has been a rollercoaster of a year for all of us. We have all had to adapt to how we live and work. We want all our tenants to start 2021 in a good position. Please make sure you contact your Rent Management Officer if you think will have payment issues in December or January. Don’t delay getting in touch – we are here to discuss any concerns you have about paying your rent.
If your earnings have reduced there is help available that could top up income you may have lost. To find out more about this please contact our Tenant Welfare Adviser David Campbell on 01224 423086.
Where possible you should consider paying bills by Direct Debit. With everything going on at Christmas sometimes paying your rent can be forgotten. You can set up paying your rent by Direct Debit by contacting your Rent Management Officer direct:
