We are currently working with an energy funding company called 'Union Technical' to improve the energy efficiency of all properties.
Union Technical will be visiting properties and asking tenants for entry into their homes, so they can look at a range of measures, such as; Energy Efficiency Standard for Social Housing (EESSH) compliance, Energy Efficiency in homes and “free” measures for tenants.
Union Technical employees have been issued with a letter from Langstane stating that they are working with us and will be able to provide all tenants with ID and explain what they are there to do.
There are currently two company representatives in the Aberdeen city area focusing on the non gas flats and will be visiting Peterhead and surrounding area over the next couple of days.
This work will be paid for by Feed-in Tariffs (FIT) and Domestic Renewable Heat Incentive (RHI) funding.
If you have any problems please do not hesitate to contact the Association on 01224 423000 and ask to speak to a member of the Asset Management team.
