Scarf held an online event via Zoom on Thursday 3 February at 12.30pm for those worried about their fuel bills.
Local home energy advisors were on hand to run through the most up-to-date advice on offer and answer questions in real-time. Lawrence Johnston, Joint CEO of Scarf said: ‘Calls to our offices are increasing with over 2,500 calls to the main switchboard in the first 3-weeks of the new year – this averages at around 200 per day - and with website and social media queries also on the rise meant we needed to expand our advice offering.As well as home visits and telephone advice we are looking to develop our online information sessions which can be accessed either live or on-demand via our YouTube channel.'
