How to apply for housing with us

Any person aged 16 years or over can apply to the Association at any time, regardless of their current housing circumstances or location. Applications are submitted via Langstane Housing Association’s portal. The Association aims to acknowledge applications within 7 working days from receipt onto the housing management system.

Please read the following instructions carefully about how to apply for housing with us.

If you are creating a new housing application

Our online application portal is not available at this time but we hope our new application portal will be available on our website from Monday 9th October. Until that date If you want to apply for housing with us, please contact us on 01224 423000.

If you had a live Apply4Homes application with us

This includes current Langstane HA tenants who applied for transfer with us through Apply4Homes. If you had a live Apply4Homes application we have transferred your information to our new system to save you applying again.

We will have sent your registration details by email or post so you can create your new account, confirm your details and answer a few new questions. If you haven't heard from us, but think you should have, please email apply@langstane-ha.co.uk or call 01224 423000 to speak to a member of the Customer Service Team.

If you are a current Langstane Housing Association tenant making a new transfer application

If you are a current Langstane tenant and wish to make a new transfer application with us you will need to select the LHA Tenant registration option.

You will need your tenancy reference number to register. You will find this number on your rent statements, or you can contact us to ask for your tenancy reference number.

You will also need to use the email address held on your records with us. If you have not given us your email address, please contact us to update your records.
