On Saturday, 23rd August 2025, three of our amazing team members laced up their trainers for a unique challenge – the Aberdeen Runway Run 2025!
This one-of-a-kind event saw runners take on a 4km course along the fully illuminated runway at Aberdeen International Airport, a rare opportunity to race where planes usually take off!
Our team ran to raise vital funds for two incredible local charities:
- AberNecessities – providing disadvantaged families with the essential items every child deserves, because No Child Should Go Without.
- Fersands and Fountain SCIO – supporting a regeneration area of Aberdeen with education, volunteering, and services to help reduce poverty and increase life opportunities.
We’re thrilled to share that the team has smashed their fundraising target, raising over £300 to support these charities!
We’re so proud of our runners for going the extra mile (literally!) to make a difference in our community.
Every pound raised helps to change lives right here in Aberdeen.
